King Lear Rehearsals Open to Public

Sunday, June 7th

Ever wonder what happens in rehearsals at Shakespeare Theatre Company? Now's your chance to get a sneak peek behind the scenes ... for free!

This Sunday, June 7th, we are inviting the public to attend free open rehearsals of William Shakespeare’s King Lear at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW).

Two theatre greats—actor Stacy Keach and director Robert Falls—have teamed up to remount their critically-acclaimed production of Shakespeare’s masterpiece.

Now for one day only, DC theatre lovers can get a glimpse behind the scenes.

Admission to the free open rehearsals is on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations are required. Two seatings are available: 3:00-4:30 or 6:00-7:30 p.m. We'll see you there!
