Noel Coward: On Broadway and in DC

Congratulations to Angela Lansbury for winning her fifth Tony for her performance in Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit. FIVE Tonys. That's just amazing. And apparently ties a record with Julie Harris. Go, Angela!

If you're eager to get a taste of Coward's breezy wit but just can't get to Broadway any time soon, check out our current production of Design for Living. Terry Teachout of the Wall Street Journal just about did back flips for our production, calling it "a winner, the most pleasing Coward revival to come my way in ages." Golly, thanks Mr. Teachout! You can read his whole review here.
The show does seem to be a hit with just about everyone. I mean, when you get four stars from the reviewers at both The Washington Times and Metro Weekly, you know you've got a crowd pleaser.
Speaking of crowd pleasing design, we made a shorter version of our Design for Living trailer. It's just 37 seconds long. Take a look. Let us know what you think.
